ConstructiVision for AutoCAD opens the SimpleStruct sign-in page in your browser. You sign in with Google, LinkedIn, Autodesk, or email, and the workstation links itself to your account. There is no second password to manage, no license file to email, and no per-seat key to type.

Sign up at ConstructiVision Web with your company email. If your firm already has an account, you join it automatically. Creating the account is free, and no membership or tokens are needed to pair.
The first time ConstructiVision starts on a machine, it asks “Link this workstation to your SimpleStruct account?” Click Yes. You can also start it any time from the ConstructiVision menu → Sign In (Link Workstation).
Your browser opens the SimpleStruct sign-in page. Sign in, give the machine a label if you like (for example “Office laptop”), and click Authorize this workstation. The workstation links automatically and AutoCAD confirms it on the command line.
From here on, the seat checks in when AutoCAD starts and reports your token
balance. You never type a password into AutoCAD. If your network blocks the browser
hand-off, the page shows a one-time pickup code instead: type
CVIDN_PAIR_CODE in AutoCAD and paste it before it expires (about
90 seconds).
Office workstation, home laptop, shop computer — sign in on each one the same way. A link expires 90 days after it is made, or after 30 days unused; sign in again to renew it. Review or revoke your machines any time in ConstructiVision Web under Billing → Authorized workstations.
ConstructiVision Web and ConstructiVision-CAD share the same token wallet, but they spend tokens differently. The CAD plugin licenses an entire drawing for life, not a single print.
One token mints one drawing. A panel drawing or site plan is minted the first time it is exported or printed; after that every export of it, in any format, is free, and the materials list is always free. Editing, saving, and opening files never spend a token.
One token mints one drawing forever. The first time you create or edit a panel in a drawing on a paired seat (Main Panel OK), one token mints that drawing; every later edit, print, plot, or export from it is free, even with no internet.
The license is written into the drawing file itself and travels with it. A licensed drawing belongs to your organization: anyone on your team can print and export it, and a drawing that already holds its license is never charged again. Exports never cost a token, and sharing a minted drawing with friends is permitted under its license.

A monthly membership credits 10 tokens a month; an annual membership credits all 100 for the year up front. Unspent tokens roll forward forever — they are yours, not the subscription’s.
License a drawing once, print it 1,000 times. In the CAD plugin a token licenses the drawing itself, not each individual plot.
Tokens belong to your firm, not a specific user or machine. Anyone at your firm can spend them in either app.
Sign in to ConstructiVision Web, open Billing → Authorized workstations, and revoke the lost machine. Sign in on a replacement machine the same way you did on the first one. Drawings you already licensed are not affected — only that machine’s link to your account is cut.
Yes. Drawing licenses travel with the file. Open the licensed drawing on any paired machine at your firm and every print, plot, and export from it is free.
Every drawing you already licensed keeps printing forever. Membership unlocks the web app’s editor and AI features — it is not what makes the CAD plugin work. You can let the membership lapse and still produce deliverables from every drawing you previously licensed.
Only to sign in on each machine (and again when its link expires) and to license each new drawing once. After a drawing is licensed, it can be opened, plotted, printed, and exported with no internet for the life of the file.
Pairing is part of ConstructiVision 12, which runs in full AutoCAD 2025, 2026 and 2027 for Windows. AutoCAD 2027 is the version we recommend for now. ConstructiVision does not run in AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD for Mac, or AutoCAD on the web.
No. Saving, autosaving, opening your own work, and ConstructiVision’s own project files are always free, and so are exports and prints. A token is spent only when a drawing is first minted, in CAD or in ConstructiVision Web.
